Ogodi Technologies Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the Aely mobile application (“Aely” or the “App”) for iOS and Android. Aely lets you pick photos from your device, apply film-inspired and AI-powered photo styles, and save edited images to your camera roll.
This Privacy Policy explains what information is involved when you use Aely, how it is handled, and your choices. Aely is designed to work without user accounts — we do not ask for your name, email address, or phone number to use the App.
Aely is intended for users aged 4 and older. If you are under the age required to consent to online services in your country, you should use Aely only with a parent or guardian's permission. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising a child's use of the App and any in-app purchases.
Aely does not collect user-specific personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, postal address, or phone number.

With your permission, Aely accesses photos from your camera roll or camera. Photos you choose to edit are processed on your device or, when you use AI-powered styles, temporarily sent to our servers for processing. Edited photos can be saved back to your device photo library. We do not build a cloud photo library of your images.
When you use AI-powered photo styles (“Develop”), a compressed copy of your selected image is sent over an encrypted connection to our backend service hosted on Railway. The image is forwarded to Google Gemini solely to generate the styled result. Processing jobs are held in server memory for up to 24 hours to support status polling and then automatically removed. We do not permanently store your photos on our servers.
Aely Pro subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlements and virtual currency (AELY tokens) tied to an anonymous app user identifier generated by RevenueCat (for example, $RCAnonymousID:…). RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or other personally identifying information from Aely. We use this anonymous identifier only to verify an active subscription and token balance when you use paid AI features.
The App may check for updates through Expo Application Services (EAS) to deliver bug fixes and improvements. This may involve standard device and app version metadata required for update delivery.

We do not use your information for advertising, sell your information, or share it for cross-app tracking.

Ogodi Technologies Ltd is based in Nigeria. Some service providers operate in the United States and other countries. When information is sent to those providers, it may be processed outside your country. We rely on industry-standard safeguards used by these providers.

We use HTTPS/TLS for data in transit. AI processing jobs are not written to permanent server storage.
Aely is rated for ages 4+ and does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. Parents and guardians should supervise children's use and manage in-app purchases through device parental controls.
AI-powered styles produce artistic interpretations of your photos for creative and entertainment purposes only. They are not professional photography, legal, medical, or other expert advice.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of Aely after an update means you accept the revised policy.
