Important Notice

The Aely app itself does not collect any user-specific data. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, postal address, account credentials, or any other information that directly identifies you as an individual. Aely has no user registration or sign-in system.

What follows is a technical description of how the App works on your device and what limited, non-identifying information may be involved when you use optional connected features (such as AI photo styles or in-app purchases). This document is provided for transparency and App Store compliance.

*Photos may depict identifiable individuals (including you), but Aely does not attach identity metadata to them.

2. On-Device Data (Not Transmitted to Ogodi)

The following is stored only on your device:

2.1 Onboarding State

  • What: Onboarding completion flag; optional age-range category (e.g. “25–34”).
  • Why: First-run experience.
  • Retention: Until uninstall.

2.2 Gallery Index

  • What: Local file paths, filter name, and timestamp for edited photos.
  • Why: In-app Aely Library.
  • Retention: Until you delete items or uninstall.

2.3 Favourite Filters

  • What: Filter identifiers you mark as favourites.
  • Why: Personalise the home screen.
  • Retention: Until changed or uninstalled.

2.4 Pending Develop Jobs

  • What: Local queue metadata for in-progress AI processing.
  • Why: Resume or show status if the App is backgrounded.
  • Retention: Until the job completes or fails.

None of the above is uploaded to Ogodi Technologies servers as user-specific data.

3. Photo Access and Processing

3.1 Device Photo Library and Camera

  • What: Images you explicitly select or capture.
  • Why: Core App functionality.
  • Where stored: On your device; edited results can be saved to your photo library.

3.2 AI Develop (Temporary Server Processing)

  • What: Compressed image (HTTPS), filter ID, anonymous RevenueCat app user ID, idempotency key.
  • Why: Generate AI photo styles via Google Gemini.
  • Where processed: Railway (US) → Google Gemini (US).
  • Retention: Up to 24 hours in server memory, then deleted. Not written to permanent storage.

4. Subscriptions and Virtual Currency

4.1 RevenueCat (Anonymous Identifier Only)

  • What: Anonymous app user identifier (e.g. $RCAnonymousID:…), subscription entitlement status, and AELY token balance.
  • Why: Verify Aely Pro and deduct tokens for AI Develop.
  • Personally identifying information: None. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or contact details from Aely.
  • Where stored: RevenueCat (United States).

4.2 Apple App Store / Google Play

  • What: Payment and subscription records.
  • Why: Billing for Aely Pro.
  • Note: Ogodi Technologies does not receive your payment card number.

5. App Updates (Expo EAS)

Standard app version and update channel metadata for over-the-air updates. Does not identify you. Provider: Expo Application Services (United States).

6. Analytics

Aely does not integrate third-party analytics SDKs. We do not track behavioural event streams tied to your identity.

7. Data We Do Not Collect

Aely does not collect:

  • Name, email, phone number, or postal address
  • Government ID or verified date of birth
  • Precise geolocation
  • Contacts, calendars, or browsing history
  • Health or biometric data
  • Advertising IDs for targeted advertising
  • Cross-app tracking profiles

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data, share it for third-party advertising, or share your photos with other Aely users. Information is shared only with service providers listed here, solely to operate features you use.

9. Security

  • HTTPS/TLS for App-to-server communication
  • AI images processed in ephemeral server memory
  • No central user database for Aely

11. Children's Use

Aely is suitable for ages 4+. Because we do not collect user-specific identifying data, the App does not build profiles of children. Parents and guardians should supervise use and manage purchases.

12. Changes

We may update this Data Collection Policy. The effective date at the top reflects the latest version.
